Rimac - From Tuner to Hypercar Manufacturer
We have been a partner to numerous successful companies in the automotive industry for many years. This includes Rimac Automobili from Croatia. We developed the chassis, chassis control and chassis control electronics for this project.
Technology Partnership
In 2008, we began equipping the Chrysler Viper SRT10 ACR and certain AMG Black Series models. Since then, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner on equal level with the automotive industry in prestigious end-of-line projects. Our development work is based, among other things, on our in-house vehicle dynamics test bench. This allows us to cost-effectively test important parameters in various simulation processes – without having to drive a single meter.
A Basis of Trust
The cooperation with the electric car manufacturer Rimac Automobili is very special. More than ten years ago, we worked with founder Mate Rimac to develop a chassis for an electric BMW race car. This project later served as the inspiration for the development and construction of today’s Rimac electric hypercars.
Innovative Spirit
Acceleration from 0 to 300 km/h in just 11.6 seconds and a top speed of 412 km/h demand the highest precision in suspension design. This is why we have developed a particularly innovative solution for Rimac: a semi-active coilover suspension with adaptive valve control and a hydraulic lift system. In addition to chassis development, we are also responsible for chassis control and control strategy.
